The Pavilion Lounge & Bar is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The large shaded seating area overlooks the dance floor, bowling green and a rain forest garden. There are modern facilities including a kitchen and dining area for residents to use. A cosy lounge area with a wood burner and plenty of games to play with your friends. Relax and read a book in the spacious lounge, or catch your favourite show on the TV.
The Pavilion
The Pavilion is a large comfortable covered seating area that over looks the bowling green. You can sit and watch the bowlers play or sit and watch the wild birds in the rainforest look out.
Relaxing Lounge
Relax in the communal lounge room. Have a chat or read a book. Play a game of cards or chess.
Kitchen
The Community Hall has a communal kitchen for residents.
Pavilion Lounge & Bar Happy Hour
The Pavilion Lounge & Bar is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night for Happy Hour between 4:00 – 6:30 pm. The Social club run fun prize draws every week. Come on down for a drink and a chat with your friends in the community.
Friday Night Raffle Meat Tray & Prizes
The meat raffle tickets are available on Friday Night during happy hour. The coast of tickets are 3 for $2 or 10 for $5. There are approximately 8 draws in the night. The prizes include a meat tray and there are many other wonderful prizes to be won.
$25 Joker Jackpot
The $25 Joker Jackpot is played on Friday Night during happy hour. Buy a drink to receive a ticket to enter. Get 2 tickets if your drink cost more than $5. If your ticket is drawn you will get the change to turn over a card. If you turn over the joker you will win the $25 joker jackpot.
The Social Club Bar
Kookaburra Village is home to an active over 50s social club. The pavilion bar is run by the social club and is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:00pm – 6:30pm for Happy Hour.
Free Foxtel
The Communal Lounge area in the Community Hall has a large smart TV with free Foxtel for residents.
Dining Area
There is also a large comfortable dining area for residents.
Pavilion Lounge & Bar 100 Club Draw
Every Wednesday and Friday Night during happy hour there is a Numbers 1–100 Draw. Numbers are $2 each. The number will be drawn when all the tickets are sold by the Social Club. Buy as many as you like there is no limit.
Wednesday Night Membership Draw
The Membership Draw is every Wednesday during happy hour. To enter for your chance to win you must be a social club member and you must be present to claim your prize. If the prize is not claimed immediately it will be re-drawn until a present member is selected.
