Each unit has a modern galley style kitchen with stone bench tops, a dishwasher, cooktop, and built-in oven. The kitchen has been designed to maximise space and provides plenty of storage, plus there is an extra built-in linen cupboard.

35 units have an undercover parking area with a lockable external storage room. There is a convenient communal laundry for residents of the mews that runs on tank water.

The one bedroom apartments have an en-suite with a shower cubicle, toilet, and vanity. The two bedroom units have a separate bathroom with a shower cubicle, vanity with sink, and toilet. There are two community pools at Kookaburra Village. The Pool situated at the end of the mews is for residents and their guests. The second pool is located at the Community Hall and is for residents only.
