Beautiful Beaches Close by
The beautiful northern beaches are just a stone’s throw away. Moffat and Golden Beach have a great selection of coffee shops, Shelly Beach is a great place to take the dog for a walk. Kings Beach has a large ocean pool and boardwalk and a patrolled surfing beach.
Kookaburra Village is only a short drive to major supermarkets including Aldi and Woolworths and the Stockland’s Shopping Centre.
Stocklands Caloundra
Just up the road Stockland Caloundra has everything you need and more with Coles and Kmart.
Kawana Shopping World
The newly completed Kawana Shopping centre and the Sunshine Plaza at Maroochydore are both approximately half an hour drive.
Buses
Should you not have a car or are unable to drive, a frequent Translink bus service 606 to Bellvista and 606 returns to the Caloundra Bus station and operates during daylight hours from our front doorstep on Mark Road East connecting you to local facilities, shopping centres and other local attractions.
Noosa 1 Hour Drive
Noosa is one hour drive together with many of the Sunshine Coast tourist attractions.
Airports
If you need to travel further afield, the Sunshine Coast Airport is a short drive away. From here you can get flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland. The Expansion Project for International Travel will be completed soon. Brisbane International airport just 1 hour drive away.

Caloundra is well serviced for all your medical requirements. The Caloundra and Nambour hospitals, and 2 private hospitals are also nearby. The new Sunshine Coast Public University Hospital at Kawana, just 20 minutes away.

Every Sunday the local markets are held in Bulcock Street, in the heart of Caloundra. Bulcock Street has recently been redeveloped and is a modern shopping precinct with access to all the shopping you need.

The local Caloundra Library is also located in the park just off the main street.

The local Caloundra RSL club and The Waves Caloundra Bowls club have courtesy buses that will call on the village on request.
